We aim to offer a range of active, stimulating and enjoyable childcare activities, in a safe and caring environment, for school children before and after school hours.
BREAKFAST & AFTER SCHOOL CLUB FEATURES
• Pick-up and drop-off to and from many nearby schools
• Quiet study and active play available to each child
• A whole range of fun, exciting activities to suit all age groups
• Open until 6:30pm Monday-Friday
• Breakfast Club is available from 7am, serving breakfast until 8am (typically offering: cereals, toast, muffins, crumpets, yoghurts and fruit). We run children to a number of local schools starting at 8:15am.
• After School Club starts with collecting children at the end of the day. Toys and games are available at club, along with a light tea served at around 5pm. Children are encouraged to get involved with the preparation of their snacks and to tidy up after tea and are encouraged to wash their own dinnerware.
• After tea children have a short circle time and can choose their own activities. In fine weather we take advantage of all the amenities in our outdoor areas and have reduced outdoor activities in light wet and cold weather. We run free flow between indoor and outdoor activities thereby allowing children to choose where they want to be and what they want to do.
• Outdoor active play is available, along with Xbox, Wii and Playstation consoles. Electronics run on a rota system and play time is usually limited to 15 minutes.
• Quiet areas and opportunities to do homework are also available.
