Newton Lang Childcare opened in January 2022 at Bishop Chavasse School in Tonbridge. We have use of numerous facilities such as the hall and library and are based predominantly in the food tech room which gives us access to the wonderful outside area where children can run around and play games.
Times and Costs
The After School Club is open during term times only. After School Club starts at the end of the school day and runs until 6.30pm with a healthy and varied light tea served at 5.
A registration fee is payable.

After School Club: AFTEr ENRICHMENT CLUBS 4.30pm – 6.30pm
This includes refreshments and snacks at around 5 pm.

Tonbridge Staff
Natalie Lang
Natalie is the Managing Director of the Out of School Clubs and can often be seen in the different settings. Natalie works closely with the Managers and Deputy Managers of the different clubs.
Debbie Buchner
Debbie is a Director and owner of the company. Debbie has over 25 years teaching experience and leads the Fireflies Nursery team and manages the Claremont Primary School setting.
Kate Porter
My name is Kate. I have 5 and half years experience in a breakfast and after schools club settings. I also work in the kitchen as a general assistant at Bishop Chavasse so have already got to know a lot of the children. I love getting the children to engage in activities and to have […]
Heidi Fielder
Heidi plays a supporting role in our Tonbridge setting. Heidi is a TA at Bishop Chavasse and knows the children well. Heidi’s background is as a pediatric nurse but has chosen to pursue a teaching career as that is where her heart lies.
Celina Carney
Celina is our Tonbridge After School Club manager. Celina has over 10 years’ experience working with children from reception to year 6. She is level 3 qualified in child playwork and has a keen interest in creating a fun, varied and safe environment where children can relax and develop their play and imagination skills.
Julie Rowe
Julie is a childcare assistant in our Tonbridge setting. Julie has extensive experience in childcare having had various roles working with children in both schools and after school clubs.
Gemma Haymon
Gemma has over 15 years experience working with children with additional needs such as ASD& ADHD in nursery and primary school settings and is currently working towards her level 3 childcare diploma.
